201 Stainless Steel Plate has good formability, corrosion resistance, and workability. SS 201 plate is similar to SS 301. These
stainless steel 201 coils (UNS S20100) are an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese stainless steel that was originally developed
to protect nickel. It is a low-cost alternative to traditional Cr-Ni stainless steels (such as 301 and 304). At the same time,
about half of the nickel content in stainless steel 304 is replaced by an alloy with manganese and nitrogen added. This results in higher strength than alloy 304.

Fabrication
Fabrication of all stainless steels should be done only with tools dedicated to stainless steel materials. Tooling and work surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned before use. These precautions are necessary to avoid cross contamination of stainless steel by easily corroded metals that may discolour the surface of the fabricated product.
Cold Working
304 stainless steel readily work hardens. Fabrication methods involving cold working may require an intermediate annealing stage to alleviate work hardening and avoid tearing or cracking. At the completion of fabrication a full annealing operation should be employed to reduce internal stresses and optimise corrosion resistance.

201 Grade Steel Sheet is made of stainless steel with a thickness range of 0.03mm to 6mm, with both mill edge and slit edge available. It is featured by 2B, BA, HL, 8K, No.4, Etc. surface, and has a yield strength of ≥245MPa. It is widely used in different applications and scenes.
